Job Summary

The Integration and Test Automation Engineer is responsible for integrating, testing, validating, and automating testing for enterprise software systems. The role develops and maintains manual and automated test solutions, identifies system defects and performance issues, supports quality assurance, and ensures integrated software components meet technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain manual and automated test solutions.
  • Develop automated test suites using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and Eggplant.
  • Execute integration, functional, and automated testing to validate system performance and functionality.
  • Identify and troubleshoot integration issues, performance bottlenecks, compatibility problems, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Support API, enterprise system, database, and cloud platform testing.
  • Develop test plans, test procedures, requirements documentation, and test reports.
  • Identify technical debt, inefficiencies, and opportunities for system improvement.
  • Support performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability improvements.
  • Document system designs, requirements, test results, user guides, and engineering processes.
  • Collaborate with software, systems, hardware, configuration management, and quality engineering teams.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development and testing activities.
  • Support continuous integration and automated testing practices.
  • Stay current with modern testing technologies and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Eggplant.
  • Experience working with APIs, enterprise systems, databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience creating test plans, requirements documentation, system documentation, and test reports.
  • Familiarity with DoD SATCOM systems and related interfaces.
  • Understanding of how software engineering interacts with systems, hardware, testing, configuration management, and quality engineering.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
  • Experience with Playwright automated testing.
  • Knowledge of automated testing and test-driven development concepts.
  • Experience with virtualization, cloud deployment, and containerization.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
